Any one for 737NG type rating from pan am.
hi guys i have FAA and DGCA cpl and i am looking for a partner for 737 NG type rating. reply if anyone interested i am in usa right now and i have a very good deal with one of the best trto.

if you have not already paid your fees you should consider AAG UK, this is where 9W trains all their crew. You can independently confirm this with Mr. Menon at 9W [email protected]

my friend finished his type on 320 from alpha and paid 22 lacs rupees. and 5 remedial sessions he took. so alpha is out. they dont have students right now so who ever comes they make them do extra sessions.

pilot mumbai your statement sounds like its a 5 yr old talking..
so instead of 5 extra lesson AAG should have failed the student and kept all the money and sent him home ???
mate its called competency based training, AAG's instructors make sure you become a safe and qualified pilot.
Whos fault would it be if this guy had not been trained correctly and then had a tail strike with IndiGos 320 and be grounded and investigated by DGCA.. what would you want..
proper training or cheap training... take your pick and decide your career

RP-C000............sir if a candidate is away from flying for 3 to 4 years. what training do you recommend? according to you he must have 50 lacs coz he need to learn everything again. i am not trying to make money here and and i dont encourage agents who make money by talking big things and deliver nothing. one big question if alpha is so good why it has 20 guys like you who keep advertising for alpha.
i know sir you are a mature person because you know how to make money from jobless pilots. 10 guys have 10 different quotations for alpha. why is that?

Big-talks, no delivery
The recent years I´ve met alot of fellows who fall into the traps lured by the Agents who only want your best: Your family´s hard earned money, nothing else. They do not deliver because there is nothing to deliver. There is something to earn.
The pay in the recent years stagnated and in reality it went down. If Guy´s would stop to pay for currency then the Airline bean counters have to go back the old way and train people and spend the bucks. Now they are counting the bucks into theire pockets as Pilots pay it all and have a huge competition in the market. Ellbowes are used, accusations are common just to go a step ahead of someone else. That is not what I was used to in the past and I am sure there are many others who feel the same way.
Evaluations are done and the results are that out of 100 just one or two are passing. Out of the remaining 98 there are a few who want to run with the head thru the wall and pay by all costs for license, rating and more just to compete at the end and moan and complaint they have no success.
To land the first job is hard, pretty hard and I remember where I am coming from. To float the Industry with CPL holders is supporting only the fading T&C´s and not improving anything. I heard so often about the Pilots shortage in the past. It will not happen in the future is my fear, the only shortage will be around devoted Aviators.
I Indian Colleague paid both his Children a significant sum not to become a professional Pilot anymore. A Iranian friend paid his Daughter´s University education and she earns now more money after graduation in her late 20´s in Administration then he after almost 40 years behind the controls. That tells me something.

PanAm for training?
PanAm does not train pilots, it merely exchanges money for a license. Somewhere in your future plans, you will need to conduct a proficiency check and your examiner will have probably heard of the paper exchange program at PanAm. You will fully deserve the ensuing thrashing the sim examiner will give you for insulting him / her due to the lack of skill training that was not included in PanAm's paper exchange program.
The majority of the Sim people that work there are part-timers...not full time employees. The get paid by processing sim time and not the quality of the product, I.E., your abilities. The examiner gets a very large fee for watching you make an idiot of yourself in the sim (due to poor instruction) and is quite happy to give you a piece of paper that you will take back home to your Country where he / she will not be responsible for your actions when the flight and voice recorder detail your actions during the accident investigation.
If you are truly desiring a professional career in this vocation, then get the proper education that you need to survive...it is not going to found at PanAm's paper academy.

i tried with alpha and cae i had a partner also with me but these schools have there agents and those agents are trouble creators. they dont deliver what they promise because they just make money and they make you pay a heavy extra amount which your training school dont receve, that money is with agent and on top of it if you have any issues these agents do not resolve it, so you pay also and you do not get any service from agents. i have also seen lot of paper pilots who are much ahead of me now and they are polishing their skills in actual cockpit now........i cant make myself a good aviator unless i enter in cockpit............and biggest thing is i am an indian. situation is completely diffrent in my country.

pilot mumbai, has it never occured to you that your friend was just not a competent pilot and therefore required 5 extra lessons?
If you want to *buy* a type then by all means, go to Pan Am. Don't ask for opinions if you're not ready to hear the them.

Sad but True
Kinda sad but true that most of what goes on in the forums is reflective of the kind of people coming into aviation in India these days. Did a couple of interviews the other day. The best part, the ones who didn't get through all claimed that money or influence was the only criteria for the successful ones. Its always the ones that don't make it who have the most to crib about. AAG or PanAm I have no clue which one is good or bad, but its quite clear that two imbeciles indulging in public mud-slinging is not good for either of the two establishments. If I were a prospect, I'd stay away from both.

well i really dont understand why people are giving me suggestion which are unwanted. just because they are above 50 or flying for some airline doesn't give them authority to change my way of thinking. i am doing it for myself so i also make sure that if i am doing it i make best use of my money and time. regarding your comment about quality of people coming to aviation in India, i really dont have an idea you can write to prime minister of india and dgca regarding this. if you need will pm you dgca website. you can go ahead and improve the quality of aviation in all Asian countries like china indonesia and india. now i come to the point if you can help me with find partner for 737 type rating i will appreciate your help because thats what i am asking here.

Your need to resort to insults though is very telling of your attitude, and the fact that you just called Pan Am "one of the best trto" is already a misrepresentation. Good luck finding a partner and keeping to the budget you have set out. That's all I can say.

Consider Higher Power instead
Like title says, Higher Power is probably the best type school period. I considered all when I did my 737 ride, and they were in a class all their own. Very flexible, terrific people and they have tons of contacts for grads.
