hello fellow applicants

Sorry about the delay again!

I happened to have received two attachments which needs to be filled and brought during the interview as others have mentioned here.

Received a couple of PMs also regarding some doubts on the same and when I actually tried to fill the flight log form I also happened to have some doubts!

  1. Especially in the Night crosscountry-PIC section: it says "... two cross-country flights as PIC or PIC U/S terminating at an aerodrome a minimum distance of 65 nm from the point of departure" --- will check rides count here& again mine start & stop at the same aerodrome!
  2. Under which tagline have others entered their details : CPL approved/ non approved course ? if 'approved course' , what proof needs to be shown?
Suggestions and guidance will be very much appreciated.
Thanks and all the best to all!

It seems to be the only problem that many of us are facing. However, I spoke to one of the CX flight crew recruitment specialists in Hong Kong (as CX had mentioned in the email to contact 'them', not Pprune, for any further queries). Anyway, she said all these clauses are subject to clearing the final interview in Hong Kong. Once that is done, CX would give the candidate a timeline of 4 months to get rid of any shortfalls in terms of the flying experience requirements.

If you earned your CPL from an ICAO state, it comes under the approved CPL course. Your licence in original and a copy of it is more than enough!

They don't want you to ask pprune because they only want you to see thier bull****! They will tell you command in 5 years. $10,000 for housing is more than enough, bases in Delhi or Mumbai etc etc.
Our recruiting office is notorious for telling you what you want to hear and not what is actually going to happen.

plz cooperate!

Same question as asked earlier and I feel it's a valid Q :

PIC U/S entries on the HKCAD form: Will they consider DAY/ NIGHT Check flights as well as Flight tests??

I've heard earlier that Canadians log these flights under PIC ; But such is not the case with IND/ USA / AUS etc.

Does the "Statutory Declaration" for proving the above have any specific format & from where can it be obtained?

Good luck to all the candidates appearing for the interview on the 22nd.

I was told by the flight crew recruitment specialist in Hong Kong that any deficiency in the flying requirements should be met within 4 months subject to clearing the final interview in Hong Kong.

If you have any queries, please contact Mr Sunny Singh (Flight Crew Recruitment Specialist) on 00852 2747 8249.
