Can anybody please provide the steps to obtain UNIVERSITY TRANSCRIPTS in India.
If you went to university and completed a degree I would have thought you would already know the answer to this question or least have the intelligence to use google to A: find out what it means and then B:contact your University :rolleyes:

Left Wing 2nd Feb 2012 07:51

wow ! is CX recruiting SO's from India ?

cloudripper 2nd Feb 2012 10:13

HELLO EVRYBODY!

@ itsbrokenagain
  1. No, its not necessary to possess "University transcripts" after completion of a degree. I do have my mark-lists and certificate from University and college though.
  2. Google wont help me with the process about certain Indian universities.
  3. I have contacted my college and in addition I thought the general population on PPRUNE wouldn't mind helping an undereducated friend(s) instead of professing over them with their worthless banter which helps nobody.

@ Spencer, Prop.time & others
Gentlemen, I am a social person; that is the reason I have this forum up here for others to notice and to contribute their insights which will help everybody . So lets keep it open and no need for the secrecy and Private messaging.
My apologies as I've been busy at work too.
.. and yes I received the mail which is why the forum is here in the first place.

For everyone else:
A certain PM suggests that "...Original "Transcripts" + Validation usually takes a good month from a govt. university. So thats quite out of bounds"
So what do other applicants reckon for those who are not in possession of "UNIVERSITY TRANSCRIPTS" .

Thanks everybody. ( & I hope I dint offend anybody; forgive me if I did as that wasn't my intention. )
Lets keep up the good work at PPRUNE :ok:

equinox123 3rd Feb 2012 07:10

I did apply in the month of december 2011 fpr the CPP..... unfortunately no reply yet..........However,i did see a post in which someone mentioned that Cathay has stopped recruiting international cadets, who have less than 250 hours as per the directive of Hong Kong immigration dept (HKID)............very wierd though!!!.........and the guy who mentioned the post seemed to be very confident.............hmmm now thats sad coz i just have barely 20 hrs short ........Cathay has never mentioned it on their website........

@cloudripper
when did u apply for the CPP and when did u get the email?........do u have more than 250 hours?........

Left Wing 3rd Feb 2012 07:57

unlike SIA, Cathay does not hire Indians... the only few "Indians" in CX are either Canadian or British citizens.

JoshiR 3rd Feb 2012 10:51

@Left Wing :

Thanks for the insight but do you have facts to substantiate the claim or just because you haven't seen any or someone told you that ? Aint trying to piss ya off mate but it doesn't specify anything of that sort on the website !

Prop.Time 3rd Feb 2012 10:55

And I thought I was called in for their S/O selection, later this month in Mumbai.
And the last time I checked, I wasn't British or Canadian.

Left Wing 3rd Feb 2012 11:17
