cannot confirm but heard 33-35 KF pilots taken on 737 n Q400 together and so recruitment will be on standby for new joinees.
SpiceJet is starting more international routes very soon and so lots of pilots hired but apparently now positions full .

Ooops..
Didnt the KF guys start getting paid again?
Who told you guys about that? can anyone confirm these rumors?
KF is about to bounce back in the coming years you know.. (Inside Info)
So what does SpiceJet have in mind for the fresher Pilots? Hold for how long?
Wonder if the backdoor entries are still on...
Wonder what its gonna take to get a job these days huh?
I am sooooo hopeful about beloved Spice...

Spicejet Did it agian
Selected Candidates from last exam held few weeks ago have started getting call from spicejet Now spice is asking for 27 lacs for Q400 training.Out of 27= 15 lac in drafts + 12lac of security checks. 12 lac will be deducted from candidate salary.
What's wrong with spice they are working like Pirates they can ask for any amount of money & you have no option either you take or leave it.First you pay for CPL(25 lacs),Getting(jugaad money) into airline(20 lacs), Then airlines ask for money (25 lacs)= 70 lacs & i'm not calculating 25,000/- for exam fees,DGCA classes,RTR exam in different cities,Loads of books u have to buy etc. etc. So it will take minimum of 6years to recover it... What the F*** is happening..

sorry cactus
sorry cactus on hammering your hopes on Kingfisher Airlines. Please understand the simple logic and use your common sense.
Loans from Banks : 7000 crores
Loans from Venture Capitalists : 4500 crores
Interests Pending : 1700 crores
Taxes Pending : 300 crores
AAI charges : 89 crores
IATA bills,Employees salaries, maintenance's bills, Lease bills, Term loan interests all pending as of now other than the above.
with 64 Aircraft's they couldn't meet their expenses, Now the operational aircraft's has been reduced to 16..............!!!! ( Income decreased to 1/4th)
So the Income has been reduced to 25 %....!!! Expenses remains the same. The interests & EMIs on Loans , All other charges remains the same.
Yes they can reduce 75% of their staffs but it only attributes to 4 % of their expense.
The Airline will run for few months , Mr mallya wants to make few bugs before shutting down without paying anything like Mr Thyagarajan Did with paramount on his last few months.
Regards

Dont you think that the 49% FDI approval would help turn things? KF itself pushed for it.
That could well happen tomorrow.. I heard British Airways is all willing to pump in money for KF.
I see that KF is managing those 16 aircraft with complete honesty here. All flights are on time, fares at an all time low. Full loads too.
Agreed that its not turning profits with such a small fleet, but they are atleast proving themselves to be reliable with it and they can develop on that instead of folding in.
I agree that Mr Mallya might be in it for a short time now.
However, I do think that the airline would see better management and a wee bit of change of fortunes soon. As soon as that happens, hopefully someone might just buy that airline and save us some jobs.
No airline made any money in recent years. (Ex. Indigo). Even Jet didnt. But Jet survived the aviation depression of the late 90s.. made profits after that..
Just wishing Dear Mr Mallya doesnt give up so soon.
Aviation is all about ups and downs right. And aint getting any worse..(pray)
So its just plain pitiful if one loses money when down and isnt around to see the profits when things are up.
Regards,
Cactus.

Hi cactus
Hi cactus
Yes definitely the 49% FDI will boost the sector. But the Issue is Indigo & Jet Airways have already substantial foreign ownership. Then Regarding the Kingfisher I dont think investors will be keen on putting their money into debt ridden carrier where in the accumulated debt is around 8000 crores & cumulative losses is around 7000 crores. It will never tally as far as a potential Investor is concerned. So far the Total Accumulated debts by all indian carriers is over 80000 crores & Cumulative losses is more than 43000 crores creating certain backfoots for Investors in this sector. Also security concerns obstruct Middle East & Chinese airlines from Investing in India leaving only European & American carriers on the run which is far likely not to happen in near future.
This Move will definitely help Go Air, Spice jet & New Airlines who are planning to launch their operations. Only Air Costa & .............. Airways are the only 2 companies who will launch their operations in the next 6-8 months. As far as theMinistry of civil Aviation is concerned no more Application will be entertained for the Scheduled Airline Category since 5 out of 7 NOC holders have dropped their Projects.
So I believe the FDI will boost the sector but its too late.
Regards
