Air Macau loses it authority to upgrade internally

Besides having 2 Pilots suspended according to the Macau Daily News for not communicating with atc, that opened a can of worms and in macau civil aviation authority latest audit, they decided among other things to cancel its upgrade program. Thats an all time low even for Air Macau. Whats next

Upgrades are only suspended until the company introduces changes according to the AACM requirements

I just heard thru the great vine that what happened was the capt, a portuguese/angolan national overflew military airspace and was escorted down with 2 mililary jet sand they were placed in jail for a week in china. On top off all that even though suspended thier still on air macau payroll. Anybody from airmacau care to comment, how about the chief pilot. His best friend

They are stiring this up themselves, chief evil pilot firing stepson, If that airline was a reality tv show, with all its misfits in managment, it would win a award. Instead of Air Macau they should call it Air My god

Sleeping beauties

Its not that hard to figure out some things; seems like CP stepson got tired of CM roostering him to fly wet lease while his son is visiting him, so he resigned and is about to go back to Banana Republic. Meanwhile, VPFO is busy trying to explain authorities why the Cpt. that had the loss of COMM was upgraded regardless of have failed the written test.
Fubaliera, after AMU, Turkish, Cebu, wherever you are now you should be taking care of how not to get fired again. Macau is past for you, move on...
The fact is, there is no more AMU...once CP resigns, CA all have occupied all strategical positions in the company's management... not a promising future at all...

Im on the side of the fair and real. Seems like your posts are to create gossips and confusion. Maybe you didn't get fired because you were kindly invited to leave. Again, you should mind about your own business, after all you cannot hide behind a computer all the time. Eventually we will meet. And I rather shake your hand instead of shaking your world.

No my friend. Its not normal. Many people will say a lot about Air Macau. Some puerto riquenhos will post B.S even after been kicked out years ago. Others will see the bad sides without giving any help. My point of view is: Air Macau is filled with 3 kind of pilots: the ones that cannot go anywhere else, either because are chinese that screwed up here enough not to be accepted anywhere else, and also good pilots that are about to retire or got roots in macau, the guys that are still running for at least 1500 PIC time and are about to be upgraded, and the ones that still haven't realized they now work for Air China, for less than 10K a month(US dollars). The ones that are not one of these 3 groups are leaving, slowly but continuously. First officers are treated like animals and if Im not mistaken, if they stop to come, planes will be grounded. So my advise is go to some airline that has a decent management, decent commercial department, and has grown in the past 5 years. Air Macau has not gone an inch forward towards any kind of success, and still thinks pilots are just around the corner.
Don't blame VPFO, CP or any other FLT OPS head. Blame the whole system this company works on... the rest, even if ****ting on their own backyard, are nothing but victims....
If the pilots don't get together now, sit down and take over the situation, there will be no more Air Macau as we know it. And the bad news is: pilots are selfish, full of S... and will never have the balls to get together and take over the controls. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me....

Super pilot.
I think you may of read the contract wrong unless it has changed within the last few weeks!
The bond is normally 30k or 40k if you are inexperienced. This can be paid up front or through salary reductions. 95% of people at present opt for this. The $40 a day is only while training (Normally only a few months) but remembering you get free hotel and breakfast.( $40 in Macau can buy enough food for dinner and beers!). Once checked to line you are on full salary minus reductions of 1,2 or three years of your choice.
Might be a little out of date but still very similar conditions!

Bestana, don't be so quick to come to the defense of the bastard son of the Chief Pilot.

He had a report made against him whilst doing the wet lease in Beijing and due to the scrutiny which Air Macau is now under by both AACM and Air China, something would have to be done about the report. Daddy probably advised him to just quit rather then putting both of them through the embarassement of an enquiry into the matter.

Zav, maybe my reply wasn't clear. I said the bond is 30k or if have low experience is 40k. Yes everyone pays a bond.
Do I agree with the bond and training pay. No! But was just trying to clear it up for someone who may of needed a job or some clarification!

Eyes... thats absolutely right... and thats my point...now, you get a report from Air China, something must be done. No matter if you are right or wrong. No matter who you are. Its well known what CA cabin crew have been doing lately...captains that never smoked were reported for smoking. And so on... the question is? if you mess up with them, and get a report, what will happen to you? Because something must be done right? You may be wearing the 4 bars, but you nor any other CPT in AMU is the authority on board anymore. And who is to blame? Nobody but ourselves. Sorry if some of you don't agree, it's just my opinion. Regarding his son being bastard or not, stepson or not, it's not my problem and it shouldn't be yours as well. After all, everything happens here. Pilots marry prostitutes, fight in layovers, and so on... my word is: let's focus on fixing this thing, or on getting a job soon. That's a fact. We can use this to spread rumors, like some fellows guys do it, or we can use this to clarify and help to maintain the truth above all in this international forum, thus saving our image as pilots here.

And last but not least... There are confirmed sources that states that the the man has kept a huge number of reports regarding safety issues, disciplinary issues and evidences collected somehow (maybe with the advantage of being close to CP) like pilots failing upgrade tests, bad sim records during upgrades, altered documents by CM and so on which will be given to AACM, ICAO, IATA, CAAC, and all kind of authorities ... and we all know how this company unfortunately deals with these matters. It won't be long before the S*** hit the fan...

Dear Mr Fubaliera

Dear Cebu Fedaliera...

How on earth does what is happening in Air Macau affect you??? Everyone knows who you are......get over it....YOU DONT WORK HERE ANYMORE!!
You must either be very bitter with the circumstances of your "resignation" or suffering from some incurable jealousy of the people you keep commenting on in your posts. I do seem to remember a while back you begging instructors to come back......
Before you go pointing out what is wrong about Air Macau i would recommend you taking a long hard look in the mirror... maybe then you will be able to answer the question to your HUGE problem....
Im not saying Air Macau doesn't have some huge issues right now, but as a passed employee you have no business talking about it...you lost those privileges the day you thankfully left.

Time to grow up fast FIRST OFFICER.
