Indonesia at night

Could someone please point me towards an Indonesian AIP or similar (On the web)?

I am urgently looking for information on the operating hours of WAAA/UPG and WAPP/AMG, for a nighttime charter from SE Asia to Australia.

For the charter to work we need suitable en-route alternates, and we are being told that neither of these airports are open at night. Yet I am sure both UPG and AMQ have in the past had and/or have current nighttime flights.

Any leads/assistance appreciated.

That can't be right. If you look at the Lion Air online booking site, there's a flight that leaves Jakarta at 2215 and arrives Ujung Pandang at 0135. There are also other flights arriving between 1900, 2120, and 2340.

Indoavis Nusantara is the indo aip, not all that reliable though, ive been through on GA as late as 2am in Makassar.
Id imagine you will need to pay a bit to get Ambon open very late though.

Smellyapple, thanks for the link; it's very useful.

For WAAA/UPG hours are;

Time region: UTC +8
Operation hours: MON-THU : 0000-0830, FRI : 0000-0800 (assuming UTC)

I also checked WIII/CGK and this is what they have listed as their operating hours.

Time region: UTC +7
Operation hours: MON - FRI : 0030 - 0930 (UTC);

Now that definitely can't be right!

Thankyou

Thanks smellyapple for the link, that's exactly what I was after.

I know WAAA/UPG is used by Lion and Garuda every night, I now also know it's used by at least one airline as an en-route alternate most nights.

The frustration as been reconciling published information with the real situation.

Thanks again

The Ac-u-kwik (the book and online version) shows WAAA as H24 , there are no notams showing tower hours.

But why dont you just ask your agent in Indonesia... or are you overflying not landing Indonesia...

Operating time for WAPP is 2200-0900 UTC OH NDB U/S
WAAA is 24H
Some regular flights flying to WAPP by asking the Authority to get clearance for Inbound out of the operating time/extend the time or as an alternate.
The authority is talkable .

Good luck.
