Can't think of any gaijin I ever flew with ever wore the white gloves...that is except for the dude who wore black ones just to thumb his nose at the locals, passive aggresive is the only way to go. Absolutely hilarious to be flying with a local and have him suddenly remember he forgot to put the gloves on prior to TOD and the mad scramble that ensues, forget about flying the airplane - putting the gloves on becomes top priority. Besides, while wearing the gloves you can't pick your nose so what the hell is the point?
