KAL non type-rated Captains
It's been advertised by some agencies that Korean is now offering a contract for non type-rated captains on their fleet (B744/B777/A330).
Made contact with one of the said agencies and this is not true.
You can apply for the job being non type-rated, but to get the job you will have to pay for it, not as a training bond, but somewhere else.
It works this way, you apply, go to the interview (and medical and simulator). If you pass, then you choose a date to begin with KAL, as long as you can provide a type-rating on your license on this date. How and where is your problem, not KAL's or the agency's.
Be aware of it.
