OK people, who's got the info on this operation. Have been sent email for FO737. Looking for info on salary (is it tax free, if not whats the tax rate), accommadation(does the company provide), are expat's with time on type and wide body time getting upgrades or going onto the bus, is travel for screening paid for by company?? Any info please. Not interested in who's still working there or who's a ********, just after some factual info to make an informed decision. Thanks in advance....intake

Post intake just FYI

Hi Intake , just FYI , I maybe completely wrong here , but from my lile view point , I am sure that expats , will not get UPGRADES to the widebody or from F/O to PIC . I think along the lines of the fact that expats are here to help us tide over the shortage of trained locals until such time as needed. PIC exapts come with 500 hrs on type as PIC . No upgrades have so far been mentioned and I doubt they will be in the near future as the SWIP ( another name for 9w local pilots association ) will not agree to it in the interest of career progression of locals.
Anyways , having said all that , I maybe COMPLETELY wrong , but thats my 2 cents worth.

cheers and safe flying

All those receiving feedback/Interview invitation from Jet, are you all type rated on either 737's or 340/330's? Or has any non type-rated expat applicant received any interview invitation?

Pay is
Line captain $8700
TRI 9700
TRE 10200

Went for screening, all good.
But they are extreemly unorganized.
IST= Indian Strechable Time
Have waited 4+ months for security clearence.
And, by mistake, they just invited me for screening (again)?

I Agree with EL CHILI ,

They have had some resignation in management and now their new guys are a bit behind . The clearance can take anything from 1 month after screening to 5 months.

Screening is pretty standard with sim check , few tech questions and few personnal questions , past history , experience on type , and questions like " why do you want to work for Jet Airways ? " , etc ...

That's for Captain , I am pretty sure it will be the same for F/Os.

Good luck

Hi guys,

I'm still waiting for the dates in january for the screening. Does anyone that go for the december's screenings know the details about that?

Do you know if it will be an equal assessment? I mean, separated experienced 737 pilots assessment from not-experienced 737 pilots?

Cheers

Hey guys,

today I've recieved the date of my screening. They also said that they will send the Invitation Letter for the Indian VISA. Tomorrow I will call the Indian Embassy in Rome for details about the VISA;
Do you think that there is few time to issue a VISA? Hoping that they will send me the Invitation Letter soon...

I've also bought the flight tickets cause there are few seats available!

What a rush...

Take it easy guys.

After the screening, they do not rush anything.
The admin is hilariously lousy.

Bad bad bad bad deal....

Stay ahead, and find something else.
