Info on Royal Brunei?
Hi, I'm after some info on RBA.
I've done a search but no results...does anyone know how to apply, or how much the type rating is?
Any info on pay and conditions/rosters would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Yes, please!
I do want to have some info for RBA, but it is so hard to get to know about their recruitment info. Are they hiring now? Or have they hired recently?? If anyone knows, please help!

i have heard it is difficult to get into Royal Brunei as there is little or No movement within the pilot ranks, assume that the job satisfaction is quite high, and Brunei has a great life style and job pay is OK. try RISHWORTH for details, i understand its the only way to get onto the 767, Airbus is direct entry only with experience...thats all i have heard..

Zalman.
I worked there for 8 years, many friends still do. The B777 story has been doing the rounds for about a year. They certainly need something to replace the B767 but money is tight.
They have major management re shuffles every few months, always a bad sign, especially as very few new faces figure in the changes.
I may be a bit bitter as anyone who stays for a while seems to get this way. This is a pity as the country and way of life is great especially for children.
There is always a steady stream of people leaving especially from the Boeing fleet who seem particularly fed up. There have even been some local Captains leave, a situation almost un-imaginable a few years ago.
There have been a couple of very long threads about RBA, they should give you an idea about the feelings of many of the pilots there.
Good luck........................................................ .!
