Jamim,
I agree, it is sad but true. One gets a thousand ass salute at the slums of most of the cities.
Yes, there is a lack of infrastructure in India. But please don't single out BLR as that happens in outskirts of Delhi, Mumbai
PS: It still pisses me off when I see men peeing on the side of the roads (yes, I am an Indian and no, I do not do it). When women have the self control to hold it will they get home, whey can't men hold it is beyond me.

Desipilot, if you want to see women peeing or even defecating on the streets you can visit any town centre in Britain on a weekend night. Infact Jammin could suggest you a few places in Bristol itself.
The only difference between the ghettos of India and the town centres in U.K. is that the people concerned in India are mainly poor refugees and in U.K. its liberated young women.
Starwinder, what you see in china is all that you are allowed to see. Ask the journo from BBC and he'll draw you the map of the bog avenues in china that are tucked away from the boutique cities, its the same as the jumeiras and safa parks of Dubai that are built far away from the poverty of awir or rashidiya. Dumping on the streets is a part of freedom democracy offers, some do it out of poverty others for a laugh.
Sarka, There are many new schools that have come across India. Many of these have been started by Indian settled abroad and are built and managed to International standards exacting or even better. These schools offer International Bacclaureate which helps get direct admissions into Cambridge Univ U.K, thats if the kids don't want to be a school drop out and end up being pilots . To get a flavour of Indian education standards Varkey group is UAEs biggest education group and they are also setting up pvt schools in U.K. this is basically a Indian academic business group.
