I had the interview last year and just completed training last month. No technical, no written. All logbooks must be verifiable (add up), you will have a two person friendly chat about best moments, worst moments, etc...Just relax and be yourself. The two sim checks are the hard part! I rented time in a 737-200 sim from FTI in DEN (the 747 wasn't available). IASCO will send you the profile (no kidding) After that, the 2 day medical at the Mayo clinic in Rochester MN was the REALLY hard part! Clense your body in the inside, no beer, caffeine, sugar...all things good. Aerobic type workouts for your heart. Good luck!

Thanks for the info!!
No Tech Qs and written....really? WASINC guys had to take some written tests.....I just got sim profile and JAL call outs (NDB sucks)
I could not get B747 Sim @ DEN
I guess many of them already booked before me. Hope I can pass
2day Mayo clinic....Do I need to shave?
How was the training @ DEN and Japan?

The WASinc screening is a little different (as is HACs). Unless ours has changed of course. What ever sim you rent, try to get one that has the cross hair flight director. Training in DEN is outstanding. They instructors can build the airplane and answer or find out anything. Great hotel. Japan....long. Pretty easy, but very long. They J's like to cram 8 weeks of training into 5 months. Memorizing the sim profile with different winds, initial clearence turns to the left, right, straight out, helped me a great deal. The INS unit actually gives you the wind correction! Keep that in mind and try to keep that in you scan. I had not used one prior to this (EFIS guy). Good luck.
