I just finnished a 6 months contract in Thailand with Bangkok Airways. Donīt go there as an F/O. (The same for all Asian countries)
They are now looking for contract ATR captains as they have taken a lot af their own ATR Capt to the A320. Look on Euro pacific website for details

Jobs at OX
Orient Thai is looking for MD80 typed pilots for their newly acquired aircraft. Thai validations can be obtained from FAA/JAA licences.
Good Luck!

Occasionally jobs do come up.
About 18 months ago Thai Air Asia were hiring expat pilots for permanent positions based in BKK on local rates. (About THB120K per month.) Don't know if any of those guys are still there but my guess is they were used as cheap disposable plugs while the locals were being trained up.
Better to work elsewhere, me thinks, and R&R in LOS.
Ahh...Soi33. Some treasures down there

I flew up to BKK a few months ago with AA due my own co. not allowing company travel any more so they say (oop's I diverge). Any way thanks guys and also got chatting to a Ground eng on his way up also a few Phillipino pilots Paxing up there. Apparently they can work there quiet easily, presumably as Capt Pugwash said to fill the gap.
Not so sure about soi saam sip saam though,
Chok dee.

Orient Thai needs MD82 and B757 pilots
Orient Thai is now looking for both B757 and MD82 typed pilots. You must be typed on the aircraft for they will not train you. Any ICAO licence can be converted to a Thai validation. If you need more info I will be happy to tell you. Beware the working conditions are not the best for the "management" is doing their best to treat the expat pilots like the Thais.
