end of the contract...now what
can anyone here tell me what happens at the end of your contract.specificaly IAC contracts.do they renew it or at least give you advance notice that they will not renew it?

The simple answer to your question is no. The agency will give you a contract employing you from period A to period B (with some get out clause in the middle!). They may promise you work at the end of the contract but cannot guarantee this. Remember they only make money when you are working for them!!!
The other point to note is that should you be offered an extension or new contract there is no guarantee that the same terms and conditions apply.
Contracting is not for everyone, however been there done that, bought the T-Shirt and may do again in the future. If the time is right to take a contract it may be worth pursuing as the opportunity may not come up again.
If you decide to take a contract remember it is very different to working as a full time employee, although this is sometimes better as you can ignore in-house fighting!
