Question P2 Rating

I know that in most countries around the world there is a P2 rating for F/O's. However, in the US, there is no such thing(only command type ratings). I am applying to many companies around the world and am having to say I have no type ratings even though I have been trained in the B737-800(1000hrs) and the MD83(1100hrs) as an F/O. So my question is: do the counries that have P2 ratings actually put them on your license or do you just have it documented in your training files. Also, since my training file says "rated" for each airplane, can I say I have the P2 rating on applications. I'm finding it hard to get interviews with 7000hrs and am thinking it's because I don't list any type ratings. Can anyone clarify this or give some suggestions.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Mate,
Certainly old UKCAA licence you have a certificates page with a column saying P1 or P2 at the top which will be signed as P2 at your initial and then P1 when you go command on that type. In Malaysia pretty much the same, Cof T page with column P1 or P2.
Uk Is following JAA system now but not much changes there you will get an entry in Licence plus a signature in a ratings revalidation page.
Regarding your CV why not just put the facts:
example, Flight experience:
7000 hrs Total flight time.
B737 FO 1000 hrs.
MD 83 FO 1100 hrs.
etc.
Hope that helps , Regards.
