Another CX question

i'm an FO with commercial certificate and probably upgrading in the spring of 2005. 4600 TT with 2500 in Embraer jet and turboprop PIC of 500 hours.
do CX prefers to interview guys/gals with ATP certificate or they just go by your experience(TT time, equipments,,etc.)
because if they do, i can get my ATP in 2days for us$1500 or i can just wait for my upgrade and let my current employer pay for it.

any commercial certificate holders here who got called for an interview?
