Hey there Raul,
I havent received any news as yet... But congrats to you and Whiteoak finally it came yeah hahaha... my buddies of the same batch are still waiting as well... probably i have to wait for my bday so as to get a call from them... I have turn 25 yet... sigh... its all about waiting after you finish your medical check ups...
Keep on the wait, for all of you hold on to your dreams and I hope for the best to everyone...

Hi Guys,
Just curious to know if any Malaysians have been called up for any upcoming 1st round interviews. I know there was an interview on the 15th Sept, but i think that was for Singaporeans as it was in Singapore.
Im thinking they would need to build up a pool of candidates first to conduct the interviews for Malaysians in Malaysia.
To those applicants that have been for 1st round interviews, how many people usually are called for these interviews, is it in the number of around 40 -50?

Jabba - U mean 1st interview in Spore?? My 1st interview on a friday in mid -august in spore had I think 60-70 names on the list!!! not sure if there are different nos on other days or weeks though.

Hmmm, my duration was 2.5 weeks from date of medical to the date of email i received. But if u take yourarms experience as in his earlier posts, i think his took abt one week less than that.
forza - I'm sure yourself and your batch buddies gonna be called up sooner or later...there's still many spaces left on the course 115 i assume since there's only a couple of good news so far for oct 13.

Hello everyone,
Anyone out there being called up for an interview corresponding to the recruiment ad in july?
I've sent my application in since and have not been called up for an interivew. Called the HR and I am told to wait. Can't fathom why i am not called up for an interview after all these months.
Perhaps I've yet to turn 25?? Don't really seem to be the reason, I've known people being granted interview at 24 years plus.
Anyone out there encountering the same issue? Has SIA slowed down in their recruitment?

I have just received news about my second interview!!
That is really fast! I didn't expect to be called up so fast! Now I am even more nervous!! Anyways, thanks for all the great advice from the mentors out there!
Hopefully I can add my name to the call up for the OBS course soon!!

PaperPlane - I'm sorry to hear ur situation. Have u met all the requirements, eg educational, medical, previous application history, etc ?? Not too sure is there's been a slowdown on the cards coz I'm not within the org itself. Sigh, nvm, if all alse fails, keep up the spirit and apply again in a couple of months...better late than never

Woohoooo guys.. it's not a wasteful wait at last, enjoy your OBS... Not much of advise about Ubin OBS, I had mine in Lumut. But, as far as I heard, it's lotsa run... Do train abit before 13Oct.
*nods*... Do copy, cut, paste, scribble, etc your medical date on somewhere where you won't lose it.... You will need it even after ATPL. Most of us had trouble recalling our initial medical date...
