@grandfather

This question was asked earlier in the exam for which we are preparing.

grandfather 19th Feb 2015 05:35

Sincere apologies Jibu.......

Wishing you the best for the exam!

Just for interest......What SHOULD the Co-pilot do when the Cap smokes and the Co doesn't?

maverick24 19th Feb 2015 19:44

@jibu
The co pilot should tell the captain that he forgot to switch off the no smoking sign.

Thank you
P2J

piston2jet 5th Mar 2015 07:58

Any suggestion??? .
I just wanted to revise instrument flying in order to be better prepared for round II in case I qualify written. I am practicing on MS Flight Sim but still not confident :uhoh:

cyrilroy21 5th Mar 2015 18:10

@piston2jet

They dont test instrument procedures in the CASS round .

Infact it not even a conventional simulator test .

Its slightly different and how its done has been described numerous times in previous posts as well

If you are on facebook you should be able to see this video

Somebody has been kind enough to compile 116 / 120 questions that appeared for JFO 2015
You can go through it to figure out where you went wrong

Indigo CASS

Guys a lot of people are posting ads related to indigo Cass (on fb). I just spoke to one guy and he told me that he has the exact same software that cae is using for Cass. Now I know that they are using Lock on, but didn't understand how to get a navigation screen and a software that will throw similar questions at me while m flying. Does any of you have that software?

Udit88 21st Mar 2015 15:39

HI BUDDY,

i just joined 6E as JFO.There is no prep for CASS just remember be honest.They just test your multi tasking..In between the voice will share a 4 digit passcode make sure u remember that..rest everything will be fine. nuthin to worry about....

Interview

Can anyone shed some light on what would be asked in interview. I have gone through the previous posts and all i could find is HR questions and questions on jeppesen enroute charts. Is there anything else we should be concerned about?
Any help us really appreciated

Would you care to share what salary and terms of contract indigo is offering to a fresher?

mitble67 3rd Apr 2015 09:13

Indigo Airlines

Hi everyone,
Can anyone kindly tell me if indigo Airlines hire expatriates and the contract thereof. If there's rotation and possibly what to expect if one secures an interview with them? Thank you

cyrilroy21 4th Apr 2015 12:16

@mitble67

IndiGo does not hire expats for FO positions as the DGCA does not allow expat FO's in India due to the huge number of unemployed local pilots

Expat Captains on the other hand are in demand due to the rapid expansion

Check the websites of the various pilot hiring agencies A320 captain vacancies in India

What's GD & PI?

speagle1 19th May 2015 10:59

Sequencing

Any idea what sequence they are following? Is it roll number-wise or merit-wise or random? Considering that the roll numbers themselves were exam center-wise, then candidates from one location seem to be going into round 3, while candidates from other locations are getting more and more frustrated since even round 2 has not been done for them!

TurboTiger 19th May 2015 16:45

@speagle

Folks are called for the GD/PI as per the CASS sequencing. Total of 20 candidates called till now. Interviews held weekly every Tuesday. 10 candidates each day. The sequencing of the CASS exams is something CAE knows best but it is definitely not as per location or roll number.

Cheers

You can't really say
449 people cleared the written
They are calling 3 people a day for cass monday to Friday
10 folks every Tuesday for interview
Unless things speed up I don't really know how they can accommodate another batch on top of the type rated people.
But you never know.

TurboTiger 20th May 2015 19:29

Interview results out.

Things are moving fast at 6E. 12th May interview results are out. 8 out of 10 got through.
