thank you.

CAT3_DUAL 29th Aug 2011 04:59

there is no Pass or Fail
(make sure you prepare well for your CASS interview)
and ya it takes an entire day so make sure you have your tickets in the evening after 7-8PM.

after CASS and english test you'll straight away be called for the GD and interview so dont forget to ask them the tentative dates

best of luck

CASS

They wind up at around 5-6 pm so make ur plans accordingly. The CASS itself is something u cant really prepare much for except practicing flight simulator with a horrible joystick and thats just one stage. When they give those questions along with the flying then it gets messed up, u are supposed to do so much at one time that u can easily mess up basic flying or end up getting lost. They will create impossible circumstances for u. I have heard noone does well in CASS. Then the debrief is where they show u ur own flying video and ask where u went wrong n how will u correct ur mistakes. English test is simple. The interview is very casual so dont worry about that. I guess in the end what they r looking forward to is how well u can manage the stress. Just try to stay calm and get enough rest the day before.

Go through the booklet 4-5 times and dont stress, thats all that is required.

9FLYJET9 29th Aug 2011 13:46

hope there is an exam in september guys.
any idea on the dates.

P51mustang 29th Aug 2011 17:28

I was in the same situation , i was able to find a near by lodge which is pretty close to the center ,the place is called R.V LODGE ,2ND FLR, DRV Plaza, NR Old Bus Stand, B B RD, Devanahalli, Bangalore - 562110 . i think i paid them 300 Rs for a non a/c room , and they have auto's available near the bus stop nearby so that you can make it to the center in the morning ,thier website is R.V Lodge & Function Hall , there are hotels near the airport but in the range of 2000 - 3000 Rs aswell . Hope this helps and All the best for your CASS !!

CAT3_DUAL 29th Aug 2011 17:37

@ lesternoronhano

catch the early morning flight to Bangalore at 6 or so no need to stay there.
the CAE center is just 15 min away from the airport.
you'll reach well before time.
check the route on google earth if you don't believe
best of luck for your cass
:ok::ok::ok:

P51mustang 29th Aug 2011 17:43

Yup thats an option too ,just make sure you keep a buffer just incase you run into any delay with your flight in the morning depending on where your taking off from ,or reach a day earlier if your taking the train .

Help Required

I have cleared the CASS and have been called for the interview n GD. Can anyone please tell me what to study and what to expect? Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

speedbird787 1st Sep 2011 06:57

well first of all everybody clears CASS. in fact there is no pass or fail and all of them will be called for the GD & interview.

as for the interview my experience says that u have to confident and honest:ok:. expect questions on the technical aspects , meteorology and lots of aerodynamics. these three are huge subjects so lots of study is required.

there will also be some really difficult HR questions :ugh: for which u wont find answers in any book.its only up to you.

in the end its all about being calm ,cool and confident (CCC)

all the best:ok:
