The suns moves from East to West at a speed of 15° longitude an hour. What ground speed will give you the opportunity to observe the sun due south at all times at 6000N?
A)780 Kt. B)300 Kt. C)450 Kt. D)520 Kt.

A)780 Kt. B)300 Kt. C)450 Kt. D)520 Kt.

You must match the speed of the sun from that particular lattitude
Dlong = 15 x 60 =900
Dept = Dlong x cos lat
900 x cos 60
= 450

Therefore you req a ground speed of 450 kt

Good Luck to everyone giving the exam.

Well a general question. The website says the Syllabus for the exam is the DGCA Syllabus for CPL D7B-B4.

So does the paper include the Technical Performance & Tecnhical Specific Parts too? or just the other ones stated there?

This is a very poorly framed question.

for this(assuming heading was kept constant,082M) :
the a/c is 3degrees off track(RB change of 173 to 176 wrt AB)at 1029Z and the relative bearing to BC(NDB) is 353 that is 7 degrees to the left, so total correction would be 7+3=10 degrees to the left but at 1000Z you can tell that the a/c is experiencing 7 degrees of port drift, so total correction will become 10-7=3 degrees portside which is 082-3=079.

Makes more sense if you draw it out.

Hi

I received the mail about the next assessment yesterday. Ive got a doubt with 1 of the attached docs. It asks for my Indian RT. Ive got a FRTOL, So wat validity should be given for the RT column? Or just leave it blank?

Thanx.
Abhi.

cyrilroy21 6th Sep 2011 09:49

For those of you looking for the Indigo question bank i have given a download link at the bottom of this post from where you can download it

Its a collection of previous questions that users had uploaded and also the ones that were emailed by "aadityaslg" .

There is no garuntee that any of these questions will come for future attempts hence only use it to put your knowledge to the test .

And pleases dont keep asking the Jet Airways thread for an IndiGo question bank :ugh:

Good Luck :ok:
