IndiGo doesn't have medicals for the pilots like Jet. They consider the DGCA medicals

@bombay- what is the payment criteria for ratting? We have to pay once we get a LOI?

Has anyone who gave the interview recently got a LOI from indigo?

how abt posting your questions kinko especially abt the icao annexures?

@epic: You will have to make the payment before leaving for Madrid for the TR which is obviously after getting the LOI.

Good morning all

I got a call yesterday from Capt Patrick saying that he wants to do a short interview with me on the phone.

He asked me for a good time to call back, which I gave. But he said that the interview might not happen yesterday, but today. (Depending on when he can get another HR person on a conference call)

What is this about? and has anyone else that has cleared the interviews been approached like this?

This is pretty strange.

Update:

Got a call from Capt Patrick again. Was incredibly friendly. Saying IndiGo is going to fly me out to Gurgaon (tickets paid for), will be consulted over some of the observations of the interview and hopefully my LOI will also be waiting for me.

I'm in Hyderabad till the 19th and I told him so, so he said that someone will get in touch with me and co-ordinate and that i'll most probably will fly out on Monday.

That is cool.. but still check your inbox .. They have started sending out the LOIs.
Also there is another written happening on 28 Feb. All letters already been sent out to the candidates.

Yeah. I got a call from Parul shorty after the first call. Saying she didn't have my LOI. I told her about my call with Capt Patrick and she said that I'll then get it directly from IndiGo.

For the people getting their LOI's. Are there any further instructions?

Thats odd. Never heard of anybody from all the earlier batches being called for an interview after the results were declared!

Have they started giving the LOI?

The next assessment would be on 28th Feb 2011 in Delhi :cool:

Ok guys i found out about the NOC and i am detailing it below. just correct me where ever i go wrong.

NOC Letter :

Subject: issue of no objection certificate (NOC) for Airbus A320 aircraft type rating.

Respected sir,

I am _________, who wishes to undergo the type-rating programme for Airbus A320 type rating. My details are given below:

1. Name: ________
2. License No.: ______
3. Type of license: Commercial Pilot’s License.

The type rating is with _______, and the syllabus is in par with the DGCA requirements

I therefore request the NOC in my favour so that I can confirm my slot for the training under the self sponsored programme at ________ .

You'll need the following :

Quote:

1. Application letter addressed to CFOI.

2. Detailed Syllabus of the TRTO.

3. Photo copy of your CPL/RTR/FRTOL

4. TRTO Approval Certificate by State's Regulatory Authority(FAA, JAA etc)

5. Simulator Level D qualification certificate

Kindly advise the amount of time required for the issuance of the NOC and also if the DGCA accepts NOC requests through courier.

yes the date is confirmed and you got the address right. dont worry about that.

but make the payment only if you are prepared for the exam.
1) exam is not easy
2) if you flunk you dont get a chance to reappear for the next six months.

so if you think you are good then go for it else just wait for the next recruitment patiently and prepare yourself well. if you do that, no one can take that right seat away from you.
