KA have started calling people and giving invitations for the upcoming Aptitude Test. Good luck to those who got called! :)

Optimistic_pilot 2nd Feb 2010 08:55

hello Holdmetight, have you been called for aptitude test?

holdmetight 2nd Feb 2010 09:08

Optimistic_pilot

have you been called for aptitude test?
No.

Those who haven't received calls yet, don't lose hope... I know of an instance when a candidate was called after his given "time limit" had long expired. The one week time limit expires tomorrow anyway, so there is still time.

Are you sure they dont send candidates any rejection email?
As such, unsuccessful candidates do not receive any rejection e-mails, so they can be invited to attend further stages of the assessment, even after their projected "time limit". However if you do end up getting rejected, you get an official rejection letter around one month after your last interview/test.

I submitted in early dec and I still havnt got any response. No flying ex I have. Anybody has a similar situation?

AAIGUY 3rd Feb 2010 07:12

Some internal postings for crew issued. Likely to be all taken by current cadet courses, but to all those applying good luck. There may well be some hiring.

Guys, I submitted the application early Jan. but still haven't received any reply/invitation for the initial test. I have PPL. doesn't anyone have similar case?

Yvonne.C 4th Feb 2010 21:54

How many people were at the initial tests? I mean like each day. It also appears that international applicants are only on the 23rd/24th? Any other international applicants on another day? By international i mean ones with HK PR but reside overseas. Anyone know if this is the first time they've made an overseas applicant schedule?

Hey Yvonne,

I don't think there really is a set number of people at each test, sometimes there can be as many as 40, sometimes only 20 people turn up. The test venue (a small auditorium) can only accomodate about 50 candidates at any one time, so barring any changes that is the maximum number of people per test.

I've never heard of KA making a special schedule catering to overseas applicants before, they've always been very local-oriented.
