yash 8th Jan 2010 12:52

anyone knows what do they ask exactly or even remotely ???

draxis 10th Jan 2010 07:34

@Yash - From what i have heard, in the ARC interviews held last year, you sit in front of a panel of members (6 i believe)...asked general questions about your life...a little bit of gk thrown in.... You may have a group discussion...
Last time, there were no technical questions asked....
However..Last time, there was also no written examination...so...this time may be completely different...
Good luck bub

do any of u guys know how many wer called for the interview?i got the call letter for the interview but then i joined coast guard b4 that...so was the interview interesting and is it worth a while joining raw?pls any infos..

silent_scream 31st Jan 2010 09:16

@vellnaveen, since you have already joined Coast Guard, We would really appreciate if you could describe your journey into the Coast Guard so far. There is not a lot of information available about the Coast Guard and mostly leaves us wondering where we went wrong.

Just like the ARC exams, Coast Guard hardly parts with information.
Thanks in anticipation.

Silent.

guys i gave ARC exam ,
54 people were called , 18 each day 19,20,21 .
Interview was fine , hardly any technical questions , general description of yourself , why you want to join the organisation and some general knowledge , results are supposed to be out in a month , lets hope it goes well keeping fingers crossed

guitarboy 31st Jan 2010 20:45

hEY Whats ARC?

@VELLNAVEEN: Have you joined Coast Guard or are you in the process of Joining? I Mean have you been cleared for flight training @ the Coast Guard or have you just given the Interview / medicals etc.?

vellnaveen 1st Feb 2010 07:47

coast guard f**K up

guys i cleared all the selection process nd medicals nd rite now im in indian navy academy nd im waiting for my resignation procedure.the training is so bloody tough.they treat u like **** nd aftr all u get 33k in hand.a gazetted rank of course.i don find any point joining coast guard after bursting lakhs n lakhs.
:{ .i have requested arc for an alternate date for the interview as well..hope it works out...any idea...ny contact info about arc?

vellnaveen 1st Feb 2010 07:53

and more over there are high possiblities that u will repent for joining coast guard 1ce the airliners start hiring.....as of now this wuld b the best decision but then after 6 months r 1 yr u will feel..so its basically 6 months defence training which is no were related to flying nd then 2 months of ground class nd then 6 months of type rating in which u clock 120 hrs.decide guys.its again my opinion....but its all gonna b urs.

yash 1st Feb 2010 15:39
