Smile Recency in India : Quick-Cheap-Convenient What is missing

Hi,
As you can see I a starting this 1st thread of mine, basically to develop data and initiate discussion on how and what should be the ideal offerings by flight schools in India to attract candidates specifically looking to do recency in India (mostly those who have flying training abroad ).

It would be better if we can collect information in one thread about charges/fees , flying schedule, and overall assessment of schools in India specifically for choosing these schools for recency.

Will really appreciate honest opinions and experiences about schools .

AP Aviation Academy

I had a good experience at AP Aviation Academy, Hyderabad. Instructors are helpful and they try to get your flying done quickly if you're not from Hyderabad. Cost: C-152 was around 8k per hour, you'll have to check with them for the current pricing.

Rather than choosing schools you need to look at Aircraft wise first

Someone who wants to do a recency on C152 , C172 or PA 34 cant apply to IGRUA , NFTI or APFT

Thumbs up

Thanks @viman_chalak. Appreciate the information.
@cyrilroy21: You are right mate. It has to be looked aircraft wise.
When 3 of the flight ones mentioned below have different aircrafts as compared to other schools and indeed far more expensive.

Any info about the new startup flight schools like falcon aviation academy in faizabad UP( cost is mentioned in their website : flat fees of about 18lac. for CPL) and then there is Sha Shib flightt academy Guna (M.P).

Seems like quite a few new schools have come up since the days i started flying 2007
