Single engine endorsement on Indian CPL
Hi,
I am FAA CPL- ASEL & AMEL holder. I completed my flight training in May 2008. I got my Indian CPL (Only on multi engine BE -76) in September 2008. Now, in order to renew my Indian CPL, I want to get Single engine endorsement.
Can anybody advice if I can get SE by just doing flight checks in India (or I also require to clear technical exam) since my SE Checkride was in March 2008.
Guys,Seeking your help on this...

You already hold an Indian DGCA CPL and hence conversion rules and procedure dont apply any longer in your case
Refer to this CAR on the min requirements needed to get a SE endorsement
http://www.dgca.nic.in/cars/D7B-B18.pdf
IF you are doing you flight training in India then you need to pass the tech specific exam
If you are going abroad , the flight school there has to conduct a tech specific exam and the marked answer sheet has to be sent directly to the DGCA
Passing the DGCA Tech Specific is strongly recommended
Prior to giving the DGCA exams you need to get a new admit card approved by them

P.S : I would strongly recommend you renew the Pilot license on a new multi engine like the PA 34 . You can pass the DGCA Tech Specific and then go abroad and get it endorsed on the DGCA License
You wont be able to apply to any of the airbus operators if you dont have a valid multi engine license
