I dont think so that the hiring is freezed!!!
You can find lot of informnation about Cathay in the Google all say that the Cathay need 300 S/O in 2012 and that how many airplanes they plan to buy.
New flights openings...increasing flights....etc...
But the waiting is really a killer...:-)

I hope thats the case! as Ive noticed in aviation things can change in a heartbeat. But Im sure the hiring freeze rumour is just that...a rumour cant say forsure till we have any solid evidence. Goodluck

I tried calling them bt cant get through..!! wat i think is they might tak stage 1 for the people in batch 2 in mumbai and might take both batch to stage 2 in hongkong.
Hope they wont make any further delay.! as they said last date is 12th may. So hoping to get any inf. by that date.

finally after such a long wait, I got the reply
anyone else on 22nd and 23rd?
i didnt quite understand that hong kong visas link, what exactly are we supposed to look for. I was under the impression that it would be visas on arrival so long as we carry tickets and prints of invitation.
Anyways finally can start preparing well!!!
