@stalwart2010
m not sure abt the 1st and 3rd but heres the solution for 2nd one

ellipticity of the Earth = (axis at equator - axis at pole) / axis equator

1/277 = (6378.4 - x )/ 6378.4

it gives x = 6 356.9

@stalwart2010
2nd one

A 45° N 14° 12W
B 45° N 12° 48E?

here convergency = Dlong x sin mean lat
= 27 x sin 45
19deg
therefore CA = 9.5
A to B, R/L track is 90deg, applying CA in northern hemisphere gives 80,4° (T)

i hope this helps

@stalwart2010

1st one
the change of track btn any two points on great circle is equal to the convergency of the meridians btn those two points
so in this quest.
convgny=7°xsin 60 =6.06°
so the great circle track inc by approx 6°

Thanx Uniform and Capt.Ace!

@Capt.Ace
I understand the C=6 degrees but the co-ordinates are in the SH.In the SH the GC track should decrease..why is it increase by 6 degrees?

Those of you who have written the IndiGo-CAE exam before

Have they asked questions on: EFIS, ECAM, FMS, FDR, CVR, Auto Throttle, Auto Pilot ?

Please do let us know. I went through the questions posted here but none of them have mentioned this! Just checking again with you guys. Thanks

Engines?
They have never asked GTE based question.
Just a Piston Based question here or there in recent exams.

Till now they have asked simple visual based question on EFIS & and basic FMS principle.

New updated syllabus is being followed since May Attempt.

Cyril - You just need Valid Class 1 & CPL ( ME IR Endorsed ).
They have even called pilots with lapsed RTR in May ( Me ).

Guess it's confirmed then! July attempt taking place in July itself, on 28 and 29th of July.

@Spitfire88 - Seems you are one of the first to get the call letter. You are on 28th or 29th?
