Can someone please elaborate on CASS? Is it mainly a stress test/Interview? I've read through the relevant CASS related replies on this thread and want to know if it is moderate or very tough and the kind of preparation needed for it apart from just going through the handbook.
Thanks
Thanks

Are the results out ?? or confident enough that you will get through. anyways Cass is more of a multi tasking job like how efficient you are in handling the aircraft and solving things simultaneously and not only solving managing things prioritizing using all the possible resources you got.
They are just checking your temperament under such conditions. Not tough at all just be yourself and if you think you are going wrong somewhere make sure you take corrective actions as soon as possible and practical. You will enjoy the task given to you more like playing a video game.
Good Luck !!

@bhambri
No, I don't even have a CPL yet lol..even the ones who apply for NFTI/IndiGo's cadet scheme have to go through CASS. That's what I wanted to know. Thanks!
Btw, what about the structured interview session? Any preparation needed?

If the concern is airlines, dude you are quite far from these processes and also there's a possibility that things might change by the time you reach this level.
I would suggest you to focus on getting your CPL first. I understand extra knowledge is not going to hurt but still it might be of no use to you.
Now talking bout NFTI, do they conduct CASS and interviews before enrolling students in their flying club??

I gave the exam on the 10th and there were many questions on HF none on met, so don't relax on the hf subject.
two topics which are definitely going to be there are sums on aircraft magnetism and cg questions as they seem consistent in all papers.

***@ cyril
as i said previously
It all depends on your CASS reports
and you cant do any thing about it, i mean you cant prepare for it nor you can change it. The only thing to take care about is that the Interview which they say its a ''Casual Interview'' many people dont take this interview seriously and go without preparation thus screwing their cass report and your interview please give more stress on CASS as its more important than the final PI
despite telling this, people are taking this offensive.***
Thought this would help people. How does one actually prepare for the CASS interview?

CASS
CASS is CAE aircrew selection system which is conducted in Bangalore at CAE center.
it has three stages. First will be a English test followed by a physical task stage and finally a casual interview.
You cannot prepare much for either of these three tasks. lots of data is collected and analysed by experts in order to confirm if we are the right person for this job or not. the key is to remain calm and not panic. All selected wil get a handbook which will answer all your questions, before time. just read the handbook atleast 10 times.
wait for a email from sandra. n best of luck ppl
