If the concern is airlines, dude you are quite far from these processes and also there's a possibility that things might change by the time you reach this level.
I would suggest you to focus on getting your CPL first. I understand extra knowledge is not going to hurt but still it might be of no use to you.
Now talking bout NFTI, do they conduct CASS and interviews before enrolling students in their flying club??
