Hi Leo, I waited for 15 days. (7.6 applied, 7.21 received email). Some friends also waiting for online assessment invitation, seems getting a little slow.

Hi CPA110, may I know if your final interview was through a video call or you did it onsite at Cathay City? And what do you think about the interview? I also did it recently and saw the application deleted but portal still able to login.

If the portal is still accessible as in you can access the page after entering your 2FA code, but the application does not exist anymore, it is very likely bad news. However, there is one applicant in the thread that mentioned his/her application was gone but had gotten his/her medical invite after few months, but that is just an exception
Conversely, it is good news (especially after Day 14+) if the application still exists. It probably means they are likely busy on their end, or your processing time is delayed due to manpower constraints, Typhoon/black rain, and will schedule medical for you in due course.

I did my one online. Yes, application was deleted but portal still active. I’m gonging to medical stage finally.

Zero hour guy, initial was normal HR questions as mentioned above(why Cathay, what aircraft do u like, do u know our fleets, what do u think of 5-7 years as SO), final was about candidate’s previous experience plus basic aviation knowledge, eg, lift, engine etc. be confident and direct, good luck to u
