Hi guys, I have my 1a on the 4th of Jan. Is there any study groups I can join?
My whatsapp is +61 432 332 235.
Anyone know if the new 1a and 1b questions are all found within the PHAK or if we have to find additional information?
Pleasure to meet you all

Congrats E170. When did you do the sim? I did it early Nov and got the good-news email a couple of weeks ago. (Am 320 rated too)
I spoke to the recruitment team and no one was able to give me much/any info on approx timescales, numbers swimming, how many are/are not 320 type-rated. They just said vague that they might have more info in Jan and to keep an eye on my emails.
Anyone have anything to add?
Because airlines not value the difference between an okay pilot that can just about pass a sim and a highly skilled, dedicated professional. As long as the plane flies...

PS the last paragraph (bold) is not from me!
Thanks...

Replacement of JKI
Soon I will be applying to retake the initial A and it seems apparent on this thread that they've replaced the JKI. Does anyone know what they require you to study now?
Thanks
Thanks

Hello guys,
I have been reading this thread for a while and I still feel so lost... I still have so much to learn about the process...
I'm planning to send in my application before the end of the year. Anyone else in Australia doing the same?
Is there any study group I could join?
Does anyone have some tips?
Cheers,
Oana

First of all, congrats and well done!
Second, Was your technical MCQ exam based on PHAK theory? If so, was the exam really hard? I am just curious

Just out of curiosity, what did they put in place of flight grading? Always thought that was one of the most important aspect of the selection process, or is this part of CX's cost cutting plan?

Right to Abode vs Land
Hey guys,
I currently have a Right to Land status on my HKID. Would that automatically disqualify from the selection process? As far as I am concerned, RTL is basically ROA minus the right to vote and possible deportation for serious crimes. I still have the right to work/live in HK without a visa.
Thanks!
