when did you go for the stage 1 initial tests?

Wondering if there's different schedule for locals vs overseas? Any overlap of stage 2/3+ between locals & overseas? Think most overseas guys getting stage 1 interviews around Feb 20th, then stage 2 would be about 10 days after that...

Thinking about it, but I'm leaning towards self sponsoring then flight instructing in the USA for bit before heading to a regional. After which, I may apply on expat terms with CX or other majors. Local pilots just get shafted when it comes to housing/education allowances, and I'm hearing that they get treated poorly by non-cadet program pilots... Check the housing thread in the fragrant habour forum for a taste of what they think of cadets.

I just came back from UK, and gonna take the test on 19th of feb.
The second stage is 2 days later.....
Any good experience to share?
