Depth Perception
I failed the depth perception test at PAL Medical. The one with the supposed embossed numbers. But when I consulted with an opthalmologist outside, he gave me a different depth perception test, the one with the dots and the fly, and I passed that with flying colors. What's the deal with the depth perception test? I heard the PAL test is the same test they give at ATO when applying for SPL. Anyone else had a hard time with the depth perception test? Is there a key to figuring it out? Anybody here have some tips in case I run into it again in the future? (And by tips I mean the answers...hehehe...just kidding

why dont you try the depth perception test in the ato too? just to make sure that you have it dialed in.I didnt pass my psychomotor test either i dont know how i am rated, i was only able to do 2 types of tests because i didnt qualify for the 3rd test. well maybe its jsut a setback for good thigns to come. i wish you luck and merry christmas to all

there is no final list yet, they said during the orientation that the class will start by january but until right now there are still applicants who having their medicals. I dont have an idea anymore when will be the start of the class.

psychomotor test
does anyone have tips for the psychomotor test? i really odnt know how we are scored there and i didnt do so well on that test. what is that briefcase called anyway? thanks

maybe what i can advise before you take the exam is try to play "sunka" it may help you to develop your speed and accuray including your hand and eye coordination. About the scoring, before you take the exam they inform you where is the passing mark so you need to be fast and accurate

thank you sir. are you done with the medical exam? regarding the physical exam part will we repeat the previous physical test where in there was this depth perception test which i believe was the 2nd test or it would be a different one and will we also be required to do some push ups sit ups etc.

I'm done with the final medical exam just waiting for the final list. In regards with the final medical exam, we only repeated the eye test which includes the depth perception, visual acuity and color blind.
