who should i write to? re: CPP rejection
Hello everyone. I've just finished writing my letter of inquiry to CX to find out what where were my areas of weaknesses for not being granted a 1st interview.
This is a bit of a silly question. Should I send the letter to the person who wrote me (a Flight Crew Recruitment Specialist from Flight Operations Department) or should I send the letter back to the CPP application address?
I want to be careful and make sure I get the letter through to the correct person. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

In Hong Kong you will find close to 20 guys who have been dumped half way thru the CPP for not making the grade.
You will find another 20 guys who have quit half way of the CPP as it is a very hard route to stay on if you are not 100% commited to become a good pilot. CX stds are VERY VERY HIGH not every one makes it.

Not entirely true wongtaisin, CP22 graduated with the same amount of cadets entered. Though I agree, it's not rare that people don't make the cut during training. For example CP21 lost 3 people during training...

hi everyone. this is just a little update to say that i wrote to miss kwan after receiving my rejection letter and she was kind enough to give me a call today to answer my questions.
she was really nice and polite about it and basically explained that i did not managed to show enough 'passion' in my application to convince them that i was a suitable candidate.
that information sure beats knowing that it wasn't because of my age or irrelevant work experience that resulted in missing out on the interview.
i'll work hard this year to prepare for the next application and i'll make sure that i can convince them next time round

I'm new
Hi, intro myself a bit
I had 2 stage( interviewed by a FO and HR personnel) in mid June then I told them I would be leaving HK and go back to the US the following day because I had to come back to finish my final classes.
They said they would contact me to let me know no matter I'm accepted or not by email, phone call, or letter.
interesting is, they sent a rejection letter to my home(HK address, but my family moved after i left HK and they got it a week after the letter was sent)
my question is,
should I send a letter to Ms Kwan and ask for what my weakness parts were and
jynt: what did you ask in the letter ?
Thx buddy -- j
