Thinking of applying to CX

I received my application for DE F/O position a while ago, and am now considering applying. If by some miracle I get through their selection, is it true that you have to goto Australia to sit all those Nav exams again to convert licences, even if I have a JAR ATPL.

Thanks for any comments

Last I heard you had to attend all the subject lectures in Adelaide and then return to Hong Kong where the CAD will decide based on you experience and the ICAO license you presented, how many exams you will have to do and whether you just get a CPL or an ATPL.

This is little off the topic, but are there two different application forms for D/E Freight FOs and S/Os?
Thanks.
