However, some of the guys I'm talking to say that the retirement age will have to go up from 55 to 60 in Oct 2006.

I know of a few guys who have had problems (disciplinaries, incidents), and all they get in "support" is the line about "facilitation".

All these memberships, of whatever organisation, are only an insurance policy.

BALPA's more expensive (1%) but I'm with the AA for my car insurance, not "Dicky Dirt's Motor Cover"....
