No I believe you are wrong. Specially low cost airlines don't care about the unemployed F/O's with experience. They want cadets because they can make money out of them making them pay for training...

Info from a colleague that still works for Cirrus : they finally found that having so many types of aircraft is not cost efficient so they are reducing their types to get a more common fleet.

I worked 1-1/2 years for Cirrus Airlines.
Their pay is low their standard is very poor. Very strange I thought to find that in Germany. Nice website though :)
