This has to be the most stupid thing i've ever heard!!! Why don't they stick chainguns to the wings and hire a another pilot just to operate the defence controls!!

Yea thats exactly what happens at our school aswell....You are just 'expected' to go to Uni. They got a bit of a shock when i said i wanted to be a 'bus driver'!! HA, a bit more glamorised though!...

I would have expected that to be the case in the US and so with most of the other carriers around the world, although i have heard that some european airlines actually allow people back on the flight...
