Calculator allowed during numerical reasoning?

Hi - does anyone know if you are allowed to use a calculator during the BA numerical reasoning tests on Day 1? The example questions they send out imply that you can use one.

Hi - can anyone tell me why some sort of engine rpm limiter could not be incorporated into the design of an R22/R44?

It seems that a lot of low time pilots waste a fair amount of cash coughing up...
