Unless I'm with another helicopter pilot I always take out the duel when flying with pax, you just never know how they are going to react:uhoh:

Better safe than sorry and it onlys takes minutes.

My lease rates at £75 per hour don't give me (as far as I perceive) any special favours.

Hangarage is 199per month
Insurance on the school fleet policy works out to be £5200 per year...

I've been flying 22's and 44's out of Booker for the last 3 years and both training schools actively encourage them to the ground. My personal view is that I think it is imperative in all weather...

just took the plunge last month and bought a R22 from a friend of mine. Still nervous as hell as a helicopter owner and the responsibility that goes with it, plus a wife...
