Age shouldn't be an issue as you still have 20+ y to fly. It is at least not mentioned in the criteria to be hired.

Be carefuk about the price. It is more than what you mention. They are some additional cost, such as Landing fees, skill test, charts and so on...all of this will make the final bill quite high....
