Hey guys. Probably a stupid question but how...

Hey guys.
Probably a stupid question but how long are the ATPLs valid for? I finished mine in September 2013 and still debating on if I should complete my conversion.

See we use reduced thrust is replaced with climb thrust at 1500 so saves fuel up to that point as well as other benefits engine wear etc

In hind sight I would have gone with the VMC...

In hind sight I would have gone with the VMC option only because you can't count on the use of reduced thrust in case of windshear etc. maybe someone appealed it.

I agree, these exams have very little relevance to actual airline flying, yes some of the stuff is important, but stuff like what wind blows over the northeastern part of africa in summer etc etc etc...
