I don't think so besides I did not get any temporary CPL license from canada.
It will take around a month to get the canada CPL.
I would recommend apply once you get RT and CPL both...

I believe 6 months start from the date you act on a requirement. So you need to calculate 6 months from the oldest requirement you fulfilled for recency.

RTR (P) will be valid only for 5 years as they give it on the basis of canadian CPL which is nowadays issued only for 5 years. so every 5 years you need to renew CPL and hence the RT as well.

Have we got any updates or any more recent instances of refusal to issue endorsement on duchess?
I am almost ready to submit my papers for conversion but kept it on hold because of this news....
