Guys need help...!!

Plz can anyone guide me...after i get my CPL..when does the 6 months of recency starts?I mean do i need to keep something current in those 6 months or is it after i get my CPL or after my last flying hour the DGCA 6 months for recency time starts??
Heard from one of my friend that 6 months start after one has done with the IR 250 NM flight??Is it true?
And a lot more i'v heard...so can someone give me proper guidance...

I believe 6 months start from the date you act on a requirement. So you need to calculate 6 months from the oldest requirement you fulfilled for recency.

The DGCA looks at it this way - the day you submit your application at the front desk, within the preceding 6 months you must have met all the recency requirements. Do the math!
