I donīt know if it helps, but a couple of planes have been shot down by fighters in Venezuela, in at least two occasions. Maybe itīs one of them.

If they had set alt sel to 0 and press LVL CHG they'd come all the way down. If they had pressed LVL CHG and a certain alt sel (above 3kft) the airplane would capture that selected alt.

Just like my company! If I compare it with my airline time with per diem, today I sleep, eat and live much better than the older days... I do preffer the credit cards. I never abuse it.
