Any news on missing Hawker N600AE ?

There was a Hawker 600A N600AE that departed Santo Domingo Sept 11/2014 on a domestic flight to Punta Cana.

Aircraft went off radar shortly after departure and now declared missing.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on possible accident - or did it head south???

Hmmm - seem I've found more than both those sites.

US unnamed agencies noted the aircraft flew below radar 10 minutes after departure from Santa Domingo.

Aircraft changed route towards Venezuela, then again changed course towards Honduras.

US agencies suspect the aircraft is being used for drug runs, specifically from Honduras to Mexico.

The two pilots on board who are known to authorities are both Venezuelan citizens.

Local authorities investigate the whereabouts of the plane, a 12-passenger Hawker 125, registry N600AE, reportedly parked at AILA’s south ramp during the last five months.

The only thing worse than a Hawker is a Lear, but at least a Lear makes sense.

I donīt know if it helps, but a couple of planes have been shot down by fighters in Venezuela, in at least two occasions. Maybe itīs one of them.
