It happened to me, they didn't give me a clear answer as to why I wasn't selected by Wizzair but by SmartLynx. I declined the offer in the end, paying an extra 25K for the type rating was too much...

Yes, this is definitely the best way to train pilots. Plus having an experience in operations or engineering for example, at an airline is definitely something interesting for a future pilot.

EZY, same price or a little more if you do the ATPL+TR, get paid something like 55K Pounds as a FO and 90K as a captain...
