Post scriptum

..almost forgot, since you are from SI: Why not Prairie Air Service for your FAA training? Herb has provided lots of RSAF jet jocks with the FAA ATP. My favourite story: F-16 driver needed a solo x/c...

1) SFA Horizon requires no presence - this was in the regs in JAR, I haven't checked with EASA FCL how that has changed. But accordingly it can be done without those 3 weeks/ 10% presence courses.

Germany as well (quite a surprise actually)

You could fly in Germany as well, provided you have a current medical and over 30 hrs of glider time - some rule interpretation from the 90's from the LBA, which still strikes me as odd if you look...

You don't seriously expect me to publicize this oversight of page 398 of some obscure CAA document for foreign license conversion at a facility that does not administer that many of them, do you...

Thanks for the help!

Cheers mate,

what I found mostly was EASA 66 exams and ATPL sittings at the known, remote locations. I contacted the BC in Switzerland, let's see. Thanks for the help, though this looks like quite...

2nd thought

I didn't quote you so I wrote from memory, now reread your post:

Pretty positively you couldn't separate the IR from the rest of the F1-training: The syllabus has to sort of "expectedly" last 9...

Yes I am!

I certainly am - but relocating and chosing a CPL/ FI(A) facility when I practise for the fATPL theory already is the reason why I put this thread up.

Cheers!

I had one for Wichita-LA-Wichita (Cessna 172 with Garmin 430, 100 $ wet), put 40 hrs in her in about 8 days and they were quite happy to help me out.

Prairie Air Service has a 152 at - last info...
