Happy to be corrected here, but is the view of the DWP, not that a company cannot make 1 group of (expensive?)employees redundant whilst recruiting into the same role at a cheaper rate?

If only this was correct - I have never seen crew not report for a NRT (HKG,SYD or CPT) due to a cold. But a cold appears to have a huge impact on LOS or BOM.:eek:

So looking at a longhaul crew member with approximately 4 trips /month minus leave plus SEP/MLD. You can add on another 120 hours? Still a long way from the theoretical 2000 hours.:eek:
