Hi guys,

I just finished my apprenticeship about 8 months ago,

Here are a few things i picked up along the way that might be useful too you.

1. the pay is rubbish, i cant see how a school...

Its just a demoralising... If i could go back 5 years i don't think i would of even bothered with aviation, just tried to go straight to the mines...

Has anyone heard how aviation in australia has reacted pay wise for the new A/B1/B2 licencing? GA, qantas, qantaslink, jetstar, virgin? any news???

If AME's stay about 50kish im just wondering...

make sure you only ground...

generally your apprenticeship counts as 4 years experience.
as for type courses, i have no idea, as im involved in GA
